Each of the last three mornings while doing critter chores between 5:00 and 5:30 two Common Snipe have zoomed past seemingly going from one abandoned pasture to another. We live on the sourthern end of Snake Mountain in Cornwall, Addison County. Also heard a juvenile White Throated Sparrow during this morning's twilight. Monarch butterfilies seen throughout the day the last few days at a rate of 1-4 an hour. Wasn't searching for them, just noted them while doing other things. Ian A. Worley
