   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast

   Tonight: Northwest wind 5 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet. a chance of
   showers until midnight, with visibilities unrestricted.
   Friday: West Wind becoming south 10 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet.
   Friday Night: South Wind 10 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet. slight
   chance of showers after midnight with visibilities unrestricted.
   Saturday: South Wind 10 to 20 knots. Waves 1 to 3 feet. Showers
   likely, especially in the afternoon. Visibilities reduced to 3 to 5
   miles in any rain.

   The ultraviolet index on Friday October 3 will be a 2. This is in the
   minimal category.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock was 95.26
   feet. The water temperature was 60 degrees.
