   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast

   Today: Northwest wind 5 to 10 knots. Waves less than 1 foot.
   Tonight: Light north wind with nearly calm water. A chance of snow or
   rain showers after midnight. Visibility reduced to below 5 miles in
   any precipitation.
   Sunday: Light north wind increasing to 10 to 15 knots in the
   afternoon. Waves building to 1 to 2 feet.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock was 94.98
   feet. The water temperature was 55 degrees.
