   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast

   Tonight: North Wind 5 to 10 knots. Waves around 1 foot. a slight
   chance of snow or rain showers. Visibility reduced to below 5 miles in
   any precipitation.
   Sunday: Light north wind increasing to 10 to 15 knots in the
   afternoon. Waves building to 1 to 2 feet.
   Sunday Night: Northwest wind 5 to 10 knots. Waves around 1 foot.
   Monday: Northwest wind 5 to 10 knots becoming southeast by evening and
   increasing to 10 to 20 knots. Waves around 1 foot increasing to 1 to 3
   feet late.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock was 94.94
   feet. The water temperature was 55 degrees.

   The ultraviolet index for Sunday, October 19 is a 2. This is in the
   minimal category.
