   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast

   A Lake wind advisory is in effect for this evening

   Tonight: South Wind 15 to 25 knots this evening, decreasing to 5 to 10
   knots by midnight and becoming variable. Waves 2 to 4 feet, subsiding
   to around 1 foot.
   Monday: Light and variable wind, becoming south and increasing to
   around 10 knots. Waves building to around 1 foot.
   Monday Night: Wind becoming southwest at 10 to 20 knots. Waves 1 to 3
   feet.
   Tuesday: Southwest wind 10 to 20 knots, becoming south and decreasing
   to around 10 knots in the afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 feet, subsiding to
   around 1 foot.

   Occasional rain, heavy at times, tonight through Monday night,
   reducing visibility to below 5 miles at times.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock was 95.38
   feet. The water temperature was 50 degrees.

   The ultraviolet index for Monday, October 27th is a 1. This is in the
   minimal category.
