   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast

   Tonight: South Wind 5 to 10 knots becoming light and variable late.
   Waves 1 foot or less. A chance of rain late, with visibility
   restricted to 5 miles in precipitation.
   Wednesday: Northwest wind 5 to 15 knots, becoming south 10 to 20 knots
   by early evening. Waves around 1 foot, building to 1 to 3 feet late.
   Periods of rain and fog, with visibility restricted to 3 to 5 miles.
   Wednesday Night: South Wind 15 to 25 knots. Waves 2 to 3 feet. A
   chance of an evening shower, with visibility briefly reduced to 5
   miles.
   Thursday: South Wind 10 to 20 knots in the morning, decreasing to 5 to
   10 knots during the afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 feet, subsiding to around
   1 foot.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock was 95.78
   feet. The water temperature was 50 degrees.

   The ultraviolet index for tomorrow October 29 is a 1. This is in the
   minimal category.
