Julie:

There seems to be some difference of opinions on this. John is calling
the SOS and Paul to straighten it out and then put the answer on the
muninet. He has already talked with the county clerk this morning.

He'll keep you posted.

Colleen:

I talked to Paul Guiliani (attorney for the court) on Friday, and he
said
the Courthouse renovation ballot had to be separate, and had to be kept
in a
separate box, and comingled with the other towns before counting. Paul
seemed to think that someone from the sheriff's office would be picking
them
up from Town to Town.

I would much rather have it on the town ballot with a separate heading
as
this will make 6 ballots for Huntington.

How did you get permission to not have ballots comingled? Can I also get
this permission?

Juli

Velma:

Thanks for the offer but John and I are putting the question on our town
ballot along with the technical academy and have received permission
from
Sec of State's office to do so. This way the machine will be able to
count
the votes and it will be one less thing to think about on election
night. We
must simply put a heading for County after Town and School articles on
the
ballot. I dislike having to keep track of so many ballots on election
day.

Colleen.

I am having Winooski Press print my ballots for the paper ballot for the
vote on the County Court Renovations to be held on Town Meeting day. Is
anyone else interested in having Winooski Press print your ballots? If
so,
if you could give me the number of ballots required, I will get a quote.
I
have asked for white, that is the cheapest color to print. If you need a
different color, I would need to know.
