Mikell "Spirit of Youth" Award for your assistance in nominating a deserving young adult. To be eligible, the nominee must meet each of the following criteria. The nominee must be: under the age of 24 years; not a member of the Children and Family Council for Prevention Programs; a person who was involved in the juvenile justice system as a youth; currently involved, directly or indirectly, in improving the lives of at-risk youth and a Vermont resident. Last year one young person received this award. The timeline for the submission of the nomination is April 1, 2004.
