Baldy is the major mountain on the west side of the area, separating Alta
from Snowbird. On the Alta side it's renowned for it's steeeeeeep, tight,
hike-to chutes. The Snowbird side has been used for the US Free Skiing*
Nationals finals for the past 2 years.

*: formerly called the Extreme Skiing Nationals
