Hello everyone and congratulations on putting together this coalition - it has been exciting to watch your activism. The women's center is sponsoring a talk this Thursday as part of our Women at Noon series. Information is below - you might be interested. Also, we are sponsoring a discussion on April 29th where we would like a couple of people who go to the March this coming weekend to share there experiences with people who were not able to go. Evidence presented reveals that the number of abortions which are performed stays relatively the same regardless of whether or not abortions are legal. The death of women from illegal abortions, however, rises dramatically when safe and legal options are not available. March for Women's Lives Report On April 25, 2004, students, youth, community members, major reproductive rights leaders, labor, human rights, LGBT rights, and environmental organizations will gather in D.C. in record numbers to show their support for a woman's right to choose.
