I would argue DD's penetration, at least in parts of
New England, far exceeds that. Two examples:
Milford, NH (near my hometown): 3 DD in a town of
13,500 people, 1 store per every 4,500 residents
Beverly, Mass. (where I currently work): 7, and number
8 in under construction and soon to open, DD stores in
a city of 40,000, which is one store per every 5,000
residents.
Sounds like Dunks has Timmy beat in parts of New
England.
