May 10: NASHVILLE WARBLERS (male and female), 1 NORTHERN PARULA (female first
year), 1 CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER, 1 RED-EYED VIREO, 1 SLATE-COLORED JUNCO.

May 11: 1 ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK (male), 1 CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER (male), 1
definite and several probable male BROWN-HEADED COWBIRDS, PILEATED WOODPECKER
(heard).

Also for these days: PHOEBES, CROWS (heard), a WHITE-BREASTED NUTHATCH
(heard), MOURNING DOVES, BLUE JAYS, CHIPPING SPARROWS, CHICKADEES, ROBINS, HERMIT
THRUSHES (constantly hear them singing), TOWHEES (ditto), a GOLDFINCH,
YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS, YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKERS, DOWNY WOODPECKERS, and 2 RED-TAILED
HAWKS.
