It was nice to have the "gang" back at West
Rutland Marsh today during the annual Green-up
Day cleanup - chestnut-sided warbler, Nashville
warbler, black-and-white warbler, yellow warbler
(male, singing away), and warbling vireo. Also,
sora, Virginia rail and a male northern harrier.

The bird song and 70+ students from Rutland High
made the job easy. The marsh is sparkling now.
