   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast

   Tonight: Southwest wind 10 knots, becoming south late. Waves around 1
   foot. A chance of rain showers after midnight, possibly restricting
   visibility to 5 miles at times.
   Wednesday: South Wind 15 to 20 knots. Waves 2 to 3 feet. Rain showers
   likely, possibly restricting visibility to 5 miles at times.
   Wednesday Night: Light and variable winds. Waves less than 1 foot.
   Thursday: South Wind 10 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock is at
   97.92 feet. The water temperature is 39 degrees.

   The ultraviolet index for Wednesday May 5 is a 3. This is in the low
   category.
