   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast

   Tonight: South Wind 10 to 20 knots. Waves 1 to 3 feet. A chance of
   showers and thunderstorms. Visibility reduced to below 5 miles in any
   rain.
   Sunday: South Wind 20 to 30 knots. Waves 3 to 5 feet. Afternoon
   showers and thunderstorms likely, reducing visibility to below 5 miles
   at times.
   Sunday Night: Southwest wind 15 to 25 knots, diminishing to 10 to 15
   knots after midnight. Waves 2 to 4 feet, susiding to 1 to 2 feet.
   Occasional showers with a chance of thunderstorms. Visibility reduced
   to below 5 miles at times.
   Monday: Northwest wind 10 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet. A chance of
   morning showers, with visibility generally unrestricted.

   Winds and waves May be locally higher in the vicinity of any
   thunderstorms.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock is at
   97.99 feet. The water temperature is 42 degrees.

   The ultraviolet index for Sunday, May 2 is a 3. This is in the low
   category.
