   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast

   A Lake wind advisory remains in effect for this evening

   Tonight: South Wind 15 to 25 knots this evening, diminishing to 10 to
   15 knots after midnight, then shifting to the northwest late. waves 2
   to 4 feet, subsiding to 1 to 2 feet. Occasional showers with a chance
   of thunderstorms. Visibility reduced to below 5 miles at times.
   Monday: North Wind around 10 knots. Waves around 1 foot. A chance of
   showers, possibly reducing visibility to 5 miles at times.
   Monday Night: North Wind 10 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet. A chance
   of showers, possibly reducing visibility to 5 miles at times.
   Tuesday: Northwest wind 10 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet.

   Winds and waves May be locally higher in the vicinity of any
   thunderstorms.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock is at
   97.97 feet. The water temperature is 42 degrees.

   The ultraviolet index for Monday, May 3rd is a 4. This is in the low
   category.
