   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast

   Today: South Wind 10 to 20 knots becoming northwest this afternoon.
   Waves 1 to 2 feet. A chance of showers and thunderstorms in the
   morning.
   Tonight: North Winds 5 to 10 knots becoming light and variable after
   midnight. Waves less than 1 foot.
   Wednesday: Winds becoming south 5 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock was 97.56
   feet, and the water temperature was 43 degrees.
