   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast

   Today: Light and variable winds becoming southwest 10 to 15 knots.
   Waves building to 1 to 2 feet. A chance of early morning showers, and
   a chance of late afternoon showers and thunderstorms, reducing
   visibility to 5 miles at times.
   Tonight: Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet. A chance
   of showers and thunderstorms until midnight, reducing visibility to 3
   to 5 miles.
   Wednesday: West Winds 10 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet.

   Winds and waves May be briefly higher near any thunderstorms.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock is 96.58
   feet, and the water temperature is 62 degrees.
