Yesterday on East Mt, I watched a pair of unbanded Gray Jays at close
range, while a Black-backed Woodpecker male drummed nearby and a female
foraged on a dead spruce.  Our field crew saw a juvenile Gray Jay in the
same area on Thursday.  We encounter Boreal Chickadees daily up there
now.  Now we're just waiting for a Spruce Grouse....
