I have just come from watching adults feed three nuthatch babies.  What
is unusual, is that the babies are all white!  Pinkish bills and legs,
but the eyes are dark as far as I could see..  These can be found in
maples .5 mi. north of the Ripton School, on the Lincoln-Ripton Road.
Meg says they usually come to the feeder between 3 and 4 in the
afternoon, and they were right on schedule today.  For more info, Meg
