   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast

   Rest of today: North Winds 5 to 10 knots becoming variable less than
   10 knots this afternoon. Waves less than a foot.
   Tonight: Winds becoming south around 10 knots. Waves around a foot.
   Tuesday: South Winds 5 to 10 knots. Waves around a foot.

   Scattered showers and a chance of thunderstorms through Tuesday.
   visibility reduced to 3 to 5 miles in any rain. Winds and waves May be
   locally higher in the vicinity of any thunderstorms.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock was 96.18
   feet, and the water temperature was 72 degrees. The ultraviolet index
   for today is a 4. This is in the moderate category.
