   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast

   Today: South Winds 10 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet. Visibility
   occasionally lowering to 3 to 5 miles in showers. A chance of
   thunderstorms this afternoon.
   Tonight: Southwest winds around 10 knots early, becoming light and
   variable late. Waves around 1 foot. Visibility occasionally lowering
   to 3 to 5 miles in scattered showers.
   Saturday: Light and variable winds in the morning, becoming northwest
   around 10 knots in the afternoon. Waves around 1 foot. visibility
   occasionally lowering to 3 to 5 miles in scattered showers and
   thunderstorms during the afternoon.

   Winds and waves May be locally higher in the vicinity of any
   thunderstorms.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock was 96.08
   feet, and the water temperature was 69 degrees.
