   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast

   Tonight: Southwest winds less than 10 knots. Waves less than 1 foot.
   Showers likely with a chance of thunderstorms this evening. showers
   diminishing by late evening. Visibility occasionally lowered to 3 to 5
   miles in showers.
   Saturday: Light and variable winds in the morning, becoming northwest
   around 10 knots in the afternoon. Waves around 1 foot. a chance of
   showers and thunderstorms occasionally lowering visibility to 3 to 5
   miles.
   Saturday Night: Winds light and variable. Waves nearly calm.
   Sunday: South Winds 5 to 10 knots. Waves around 1 foot. A chance of
   afternoon showers and thunderstorms reducing visibility to 3 to 5
   miles.

   Winds and waves May be locally higher in the vicinity of any
   thunderstorms.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock was 96.10
   feet, and the water temperature was 69 degrees.

   The ultraviolet index for Saturday July 17 will be a 6. This is in the
   high category.
