   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast

   Today: Light and variable winds early becoming south at 5 to 10 knots
   this afternoon. Waves 1 foot or less. Visibility occasionally lowering
   to below 3 miles in scattered showers and thunderstorms this
   afternoon.
   Tonight: South Winds 5 to 10 knots early, becoming light and variable.
   Waves 1 foot or less. Visibility occasionally lowering to 3 to 5 miles
   in scattered showers early.
   Monday: Light and variable winds early, becoming south at 5 to 10
   knots. Waves around 1 foot. Visibility occasionally lowering 3 to 5
   miles in scattered showers and thunderstorms.

   Winds and waves May be locally higher in the vicinity of any
   thunderstorms.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock was 96.12
   feet, and the water temperature was 70 degrees.
