Dear Joy,
the benzoic acids are now becoming available as IAEA-601 and IAEA-602.
The wider test of the 18O composition is still pending, and I hope that
this will be done during the remainder of the year. As reminder:
preliminary values are +23.2 and +71.4 per mill vs. VSMOW, as indicated
by independent measurements of Arndt Schimmelman and in my group. Thus,
these two reference materials should serve the purpose of an isotope
pair for 18O in order to perform the required scale contraction adjustment.
