Proctor 4, a wetland supporting grasses, sedges, cattails, purple
loosestrife, Joe-Pye-weed and on the drier ground, boneset and Queen Anne's lace: 08/04,
08/09/ 08/14.  Two hours each day, around noon, weather permitting!  Species
were pretty consistent each day.
Black Swallowtail, Cabbage White, Clouded Sulphur, Orange Sulphur, American
Copper*, Bronze Copper*, Eastern Tailed-Blue*, Great Spangled Fritillary*,
Silver-bordered Fritillary*, Meadow Fritillary, Pearl Crescent*, Viceroy, Common
Ringlet, Common Wood-Nymph, Least Skipper and Peck's Skipper*.

Today, 08/17 while monitoring the waterfowl on Lake Bomoseen (Hubbardton), a
single Monarch, supplementing its diet with some minerals extracted from a
moist area.
