Career Mentoring Fair-University of Vermont

As part of National Disability Mentoring Day, we are hosting a Career
Mentoring Fair at the University of Vermont. This will also be part
of Deaf & Disability Awareness Month at UVM. The purpose of the day
is to raise awareness of disability issues, especially in terms of
employment. The university and general community are invited to come
and learn about the untapped labor force of people with disabilities.

We will also be encouraging visitors to sign up as Career Mentors.
Mentorship opportunities can include group tours, job shadowing, or
hands-on work trials.

We will be offering free coffee and breakfast to visitors and will be
showing various videos on the big screens. It promises to be a very
informative day! Please consider joining us and learning more about
this untapped labor market!

All are welcome. We look forward to seeing you next Wednesday!
