There's still a kingfisher at Arnold Bay, near the small water treatment
plant. I've seen it (presumably the same one) three times now, including today.
He's been sharing the bay with a few hooded mergansers, which are also fun to
see.

Arnold Bay Rd. goes off Button Bay road, south of the BB Park, turning at
some plastic-covered greenhouses. After a while on Arnold Bay Rd., there's a sign
directing drivers to a small water-treatment plant, with waters that stay
open even when much of the lake is frozen.

Several bald eagles were on the ice under the Champlain Bridge today. I
didn't see the loon who has been a regular at Charlotte Town Beach.
