Dear green community,

  You are cordially and unequivocally invited to attend the Greening Aiken
Student Symposium!

When:  May 4th, 2:30-5:30pm
Where:  Aiken 104

  The students of NR 285A "Ecological Design Studio", NR 285C "Modeling A
Aiken" and other student groups from the School of Natural Resources will be
presenting their respective projects.  For the past semester, these students
have been working with the Greening Aiken Committee, Bill McClay Architects,
and dedicated faculty and staff to analyze and design various aspects of the
proposed retrofit to the existing Aiken building.  They have worked on
such as green building design, water conservation, ecological landscaping,
energy conservation, renewable energy, and LEED Building certification.  The
oral and poster presentations stand to be informative for all who are
interested in environmental issues on campus.  There will be FREE FOOD and
DRINKS after the presentations.
