Self-Employment and Customized Employment Description: This session will use a team-based approach to explore the critical elements of business planning and enterprise development. Those with experience in small business and those new to the concept are invited to share their successes and challenges. We'll explore, through the use of examples from across the country and hands-on practice, the process necessary to create a viable (fundable) business plan. Topics covered include: business feasibility, marketing and promotion, distribution channels, basic financial statements, and creating a cogent argument for funding and support.
