Hi folks,

I'm wondering if any of you have heard about the end of the Eisenhower National Clearinghouse as we know it.  Do you (we) care?  Do you have a sense for how much it is used by your teachers/kids?  It's particularly disturbing to me that the clearinghouse's 27,000 item resource list, all compiled with public funding, can suddenly be made private.  Is Marcopolo (II) a viable model for keeping something like the clearinghouse free?
