On a lunch time walk in Woodside (Colchester) with Ann Curran and Brennan
Neill, I was treated to wonderful views of two life birds for me --
Ruby-crowned Kinglet and Yellow-bellied Sapsucker. In addition to these
birds, we saw a male Wood Duck, Canada Goose, Eastern Phoebe, Hairy and
Downy Woodpeckers, Black-capped Chickadees, Redwing Blackbirds,
Brown-headed Cowbird and heard Song Sparrows, nuthatches, American
Goldfinches and several different kinds of frogs. A great way to spend
lunch.
