In Mass., they tend to show up in small numbers in the Connecticut Valley, during September...

Another one to watch out for next month is the Ocola Skipper...They've been fairly regular in southern New England also...I had two in our garden in Peabody, MA in mid-Sept. 2003, on butterfly bush...

They had them in various places in Mass. last year too. They use members of the mallow family for host plants ( I believe, correct me if I'm wrong). Gee I've got to get out. Cloudless Sulpurs now this. Kevin

Skippers about 50 miles sw of the SW border of VT. So, Folks down
