   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast 

   Tonight: South Winds 10 to 20 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet. Scattered
   showers, with visibility generally unrestricted. 
   Tuesday: South Winds 10 to 20 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet. Scattered to
   numerous showers, with visibility reduced to 3 miles in heavier
   precipitation. 
   Tuesday Night: South Winds 10 to 20 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet. periods
   of rain, with visibility reduced to 3 miles at times. 
   Wednesday: South Winds 10 to 20 knots, becoming west late. Waves 1 to
   2 feet. Periods of rain, with visibility reduced to 3 miles at times.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock was 95.40
   feet, and the water temperature was 70 degrees.

   The higher summits forecast for Vermont and Northern New York:

   Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with scattered to numerous showers. Highs in
   the 60S. South Winds 10 to 20 mph. 
   Wednesday: Periods of rain with summits obscured in clouds. Highs in
   the 60S. South Winds 15 to 25 mph.
