   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast 

   Today: South Winds 5 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet. Chance of
   showers, with visibility reduced to 3 miles at times. 
   Tonight: South Winds 5 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet. periods of
   rain, with visibility reduced to 3 miles at times. 
   Wednesday: South Winds 10 to 20 knots with gusts to 30 knots, becoming
   west late. Waves 1 to 2 feet. Periods of rain, with visibility reduced
   to 3 miles at times.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock was 95.40
   feet, and the water temperature was 70 degrees.

   The higher summits forecast for Vermont and Northern New York:

   Today: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Highs in the 60S. south
   winds 10 to 20 mph, gusting to 30 mph. 
   Wednesday: Periods of rain with summits obscured in clouds. Highs in
   the 60S. South Winds 25 to 35 mph, gusting to 45 mph.
