Keep in mind that these are free and open to all residential students! All Hallows Eve: Wiccan speaker will explain her way of life and religion, and how she celebreates Halloween. Snacks will be provided Scariest Lobby/Lounge Contest: $50 will be given to each CAB as an incentive to participate on this event. Decorate a lobby or lounge, then the judges will decide which complex has the scariest lobby/lounge. A $100 prize will be given to the winning CAB. If you are asking your self...what to do after the lobby has been decorated? Anything you want! Envite the students on your clompex to celebrate a sub free Halloween! Bingo: Play Bingo, win prizes. Snacks will be provided! ALANA Breakfast: Every friday morning ALANA has a free breakfast for students, each week it is sponsered by a different club/organization on campus! So thats what we want to do. Cook breakfast for students and explain a little more about what IRA is/does to them! Cultural Thanksgiving: THIS EVENT WILL NOT HAVE THIS NAME. Learn what cultures around the world celebreate during late November with a buffet! Free food and social awereness! Can Drive: The money allocated for this event will be for publicity and transportation of the goods collected. All cans(or other items) that are donated will go towards a charity or fund. NEACURH: New England Association for Colleges and Universities Residence Halls. Every year IRA has to go to the conference. 4 E-Board members will be attending as well as 4 IRA leasons and the IRA advisor. There they will learn what other colleges are doing for programing, and get ideas about publicity. The money will be for transportation and the tuition fee for the conference, which will take place in Cornell this year. Pajama Party: Go to a dance party wearing your PJs. There will be people at the door making sure people are dressed approprietly. Free food will be available. A great way to encorouge a sub free night! Just Deserts: They only thing being served at this event will be...deserts! All CABa and RAs will be invited. Bring your Rally Roos to this event so you can "buy" an assortment of things! Meet other CABs and RAs. Great bonding and appreciation opportunity! Appreciation Days: They vary from RAs, RDs, Office Managers, Housekeeping, CAB, IRA, and so on. Show the people that are always there for you how much you care. Money will go towards either goodie bags, breakfast, or any other thing of that sort. Physical Plant: Money is allocated to the Physical Plant department IN CASE they charge us for any thing during the year. IE: cleaning after an event, demages, etc. Co-Sponsorships: $1200 dolars is left for Co-Sponsorships for this semester.
