A check of Herrick's Cove yesterday morning produced no Katrina-flung 
surprises and few certifiable migrants.  Highlights included a first-year 
Bald Eagle, 3 Blue-winged Teal, single Canada Warbler and No. Waterthrush, 
4 Yellow Warblers, 11 Scarlet Tanagers, 7 Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, and 4 
Baltimore Orioles.  Nice to hear a singing Warbling Vireo too.
