   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast 

   Tonight: North Winds 5 to 15 knots. Waves 1 foot or less. 
   Labor day: Light north winds, with near calm water. 
   Monday Night: Light north winds, becoming south and increasing to 5 to
   10 knots around midnight. Waves less than 1 foot. 
   Tuesday: South Winds 5 to 10 knots. Waves less than 1 foot.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock is 95.78
   feet, and the water temperature is 71 degrees.

   The ultraviolet index for labor day will be a 5. This is in the
   moderate category.

   The higher summits forecast for Vermont and Northern New York:

   Labor day: Sunny. Highs in the mid 50S. North Winds 5 to 15 mph. 
   Tuesday: Sunny. Highs in the upper 50S to lower 60S. Southwest winds 5
   to 15 mph.
