INTRODUCTORY SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT TRAINING (2+1):
"Employment from the Ground Up"

November 2 & 3, 2005 and December 7, 2005

This three-day training is for beginning employment specialists to obtain a
practical understanding of the values, philosophies and practices of the
supported employment process.  Attendance at all three days is strongly
encouraged.  The third day will be a follow-up 
after people have had time in the field to 
practice.  There is a $60.00 registration fee to 
cover costs.  Lunch will be on your own.  For

 Overview of Supported Employment
 Getting to Know the Person (Assessment)
 Assisting an Individual in Finding a Job (Job Development)
 Knowing the Worksite and its Culture (Job Analysis)
 Choosing the Right Job (Job Match)
 Helping a Person to Begin Work (Job Placement)
 Supporting People to Work (Job Training)
 Keeping the Job (Follow Along)
