New Vascular Diagnostic Centers Opening: University Hospitals Health System - Bedford Medical Center (Southeast/Eastern Suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio) Currently has positions available for (RVT) Vascular Specialist, Full-Time and PRN staff: Selected persons will be experienced Vascular Specialists in the Peripheral Vascular Diagnostic Center and required to perform all aspects of non-invasive vascular diagnostic testing and reporting for hospital and ambulatory patients. These are new vascular diagnostic centers with new, state of the art Equipment. Position Requirements: 3-5 years experience as an RVT preferred. Participates in departmental quality assurance process. Involved in ICAVL accreditation process and maintains active RVT/RVS status, meets or exceeds ICAVL continuing education requirments. Prepares patient billing, scheduling, and test archival. The staff member will meet or exceed UHHS universal competancies. Staff members must demonstrate the ability to asses patients status, identify each patients requirements relative to their specific needs and interact with medical staff to coordinate and plan appropriate patient care. Education Requirements: High School Graduate or GED. Graduate of an approved Vascular Technology Program or demonstates experience in performing Vascular Lab studies. License/Certification Requirements: Acceptable credential in the field of vascular ultrasound (RVT-Registered Vascular Technologists; RVS-Regitered Vascular Specialist), BCLS Cerfitifaction required, ACLS Certification preferred.
