It was a good day today (5 Feb 2006) for seeing BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS in
Charlotte. A flock of about 25 birds flew over me as I left the Mt. Carmel
Catholic Church, and then as I was driving west on the Hinesburg Road, I
spotted a large flock of waxwings in a tree just to the west of the
Charlotte Central School. When I turned back around to get a better look,
the flock took flight and split in two. Overall, though, I would estimate
about 150 birds there, with about 90% of them being Bohemians.

Good birding,
