We have a large (50) flock of local turkeys. They consist of 40 "normal" ones and 5 rusty brown hens with white tales and white wing tips, and 5 males with black and white striping on both tails and wings. They have been around for months...and seem pretty relaxed about cars and people. Do you think the 10 odd birds are a cross with domestic and wild, or a type of albinism?
They hang out in the field on the right up Dairy Hill in South Royalton.

Cardinal male, titmouse (male?) and a dozen blue jays were all calling and singing for over 1/2 hour this morning. Spring is nearly here!
