Here's a temp gradient...

At 21z it was 19F at KBTV/Burlington and 60 in Bennington, VT, Pittsfield,
MA, and 59 in Albany, NY.

39 at Glens Falls, NY and Rutland, VT.

34 at Morrisville-Stowe and 44 at Barre/Montpelier.

I just drove from Albany to Burlington...temp was 61 at the house near
Albany when I left. Still upper 40's across the eastern Adirondacks. As
soon as I dropped into the Champlain Valley the temp started to
plummet...nearly skipping numbers. It was 21 at the Crown Point Bridge.

So in a three hour drive, at similar elevations, the temperature dropped
40F, most of it in a quick time span.
