VERMONT APSE: RECOGNITION OF EXCELLENCE

We are seeking nominations for our Vermont APSE Recognition Ceremony 
which will occur at our conference May 10, 2006.  Check here:

We know excellent work is being done in Supported Employment and 
Transition in the State of Vermont and we want to hear about it! 
Please take some time and nominate whom you feel exemplifies 
excellence!  As criteria for recognition of excellence, a committee 
will use the APSE Supported Employment Quality Indicators.  This full 
document can be accessed at www.apse.org.  

NOTE:  The actual recognition ceremony or activities may vary from 
year to year based on the theme of the conference and the number of 
nominations received.  Given the increased number of nominations 
received in recent years and our goal to ensure the conference 
activities flow smoothly, this year we will engage in a more 
selective process.  Please be specific as to WHY you are nominating 
someone and how it relates to the following categories:

This category is to recognize excellent partner ships between the 
employer and employee in which; A) the employer has demonstrated 
outstanding achievements in promoting supported employment, making 
accommodations, and fully including people with disabilities in their 
place of work, and B) the employee has gained meaningful work through 
supported employment, who has contributed substantially to her/his 
employer's enterprise, and who has achieved a more empowered 
lifestyle as a result.
