Some of you might be interested in this raptor program being offered at 
Waitsfield School on March 4.  It is being arranged by Sean Lawson, 
naturalist at Mad River Glen.

Here's the announcement from the website.   This is a great program for kids 
of all ages.

"Raptor Encounter" with the Vermont Institute of Natural Science
March 4, 2006 - 6:30 PM
This is your chance for a close encounter with live falcons, hawks, owls, 
and eagles! The Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS) brings their 
birds show to town! The presentation features the natural history, ecology, 
and adaptations of these efficient predators. Learn what makes a bird a 
raptor during this great introduction to specialized flying hunters! 
Touchable artifacts and hands-on materials round out this special 
experience.
Cost: $5, kids free!
