   The higher summits forecast for Vermont and Northern New York:

   Today: Mostly cloudy with a chance of snow showers across the northern
   greens. Highs zero to 5 above. West To northwest winds 25 to 35 mph. 
   Thursday: Mostly cloudy with a chance of light snow, mainly in the
   afternoon. Highs 15 to 20. South To southwest winds 10 to 20 mph,
   becoming north.

   Dangerously cold wind chills expected again today at the summit level.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock in
   Burlington was 97.94 feet and the water temperature was 32
   degrees.
