Kathy – It is common practice to pay
a Medical Director. In my previous life at a hospital, some of them made a
decent chunk ‘o change. In the Part B world, IDTF for example, the
Medical Director assumes additional responsibility and liabilities and clearly should
be paid for this.

Does anyone Pay
their medical director? I have a lab that cannot persuade any of the MD's to
take the medical director position. They claim that it is too much
responsibility to not be paid and will not assume the responsibility of other
staff members. Any ideas? Kathy
