Late report: the first Yellow Warbler of the season was singing very robustly outside our window yesterday (Saturday) morning. My 6 ½ year old (budding birder) saw a bird at our feeder that by his description sounded very much like an Oriole, and he confirmed when he saw the Sibley picture that that's what he saw. I didn't see or hear it myself, so can't confirm. We did, however, have an Oriole singing on territory here last year. Our lone White-Crowned Sparrow has increased to a regular group of 4-5 at our feeders over the past few days. Miriam Lawrence Monkton
