   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast:

   Today: North Winds 10 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet. A chance of rain
   showers and periods of drizzle, reducing visibility to 3 miles at
   times. 
   Tonight: Winds becoming light and variable. Waves subsiding to less
   than 1 foot. A chance of showers with periods of drizzle, reducing
   visibility to 5 miles at times. 
   Monday: South Winds around 5 knots. Waves less than 1 foot.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock in
   Burlington is 98.84 feet, and the water temperature is 56 degrees.

   The ultraviolet index for today, June 4 is a 1. This is in the low
   category.

   The higher summits forecast for Vermont and Northern New York:

   Today: Summits obscured in clouds. Showers likely along with periods
   of drizzle. Highs in the mid 40S. Northeast winds 25 to 35 mph. 
   Monday: Becoming partly sunny. Highs around 50. North Winds 5 to 10
   mph.
