   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast:

   Today: Northwest winds 10 knots or less. Waves around 1 foot. isolated
   showers with no reduction to visibility. 
   Tonight: Winds becoming light and variable. Waves becoming near calm. 
   Tuesday: South Winds 5 to 10 knots. Waves 1 foot or less.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock in
   Burlington is 98.93 feet, and the water temperature is 42 degrees.

   The higher summits forecast for Vermont and Northern New York:

   Today: Cloudy with scattered showers through midday, then partly
   sunny. Highs 50 to 55. North Winds 15 to 30 mph. 
   Tuesday: Partly sunny. Highs in the mid 60S. Variable winds 5 to 10
   mph.
